Executive Portrait Photography
The best executive portrait does not look like a portrait. It looks like the person, caught in a moment that feels true. That is the difference between an image that gets filed away and one your company uses with confidence on its leadership page, in its annual report, and in its press materials for years.
I am a New York City executive portrait photographer. For many years I was a staff photographer at Hearst Magazines, shooting for titles including Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, and Elle. I bring that editorial eye to the people who lead your companies.
Portraits that look alive, not staged
Most executive photography falls into the same trap: stiff poses, flat light, and a backdrop that could be anywhere. The results are forgettable. My approach comes from editorial photography. I work quickly, read the room, and find the human moments that make a leader look credible, present, and like themselves. Alive, not staged.
Who I work with
I photograph senior leaders and their teams for corporations, financial firms, law firms, and media companies. That work has included board and leadership portraits for clients such as American Express and AIG, along with on-air talent and other public figures. Whether it is a single founder or an entire leadership team, the goal is the same: portraits that hold up everywhere your company will use them.
Built around an executive’s schedule
Senior people do not have a spare hour. I come to your office, set up fast, and keep the time in front of the camera short and efficient. The session is low-friction and professional, and the results justify it. For team and group sittings, I run a tight schedule so your day stays on track.
Where these portraits are used
Annual reports and proxy statements. Leadership and About pages. Press and media kits. Conference and speaker profiles. LinkedIn. One sitting gives you images that work in all of them.
