Philip Friedman studied photography at Mason Gross School of the Arts where he simultaneously worked for photographer Richard Prince. “Richard’s work at the time relied heavily on commercial photographic imagery and it was while I was working for him that I got the bug for shooting fashion and still life.” This led to some of his first commercial jobs.
Now he’s known for shooting almost anything. “There’s nothing more important for a photographer than the ability to art direct no matter what’s in front of you.”
Philip Friedman currently lives in Westchester, NY ♥
